If your unit is attending an out-of-council summer camp, elected youth candidates and selected adult nominees cannot complete the Ordeal but may be called out during that camp’s call-out ceremony as public recognition. To be eligible, the unit must request a letter from Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan Lodge that confirms the election and selection status of the candidates and grants permission to the local Council’s Lodge to call out the candidates. Without this letter being sent, you cannot participate in the call out.

- Your Troop, Crew, or Ship number
- The Summer Camp you will be attending
- The Council of the Summer Camp you be attending
- The list of elected youth candidates and selected adult nominees that will be in camp to be called out
Completing the Ordeal to Become a Member
Candidates must complete the Ordeal in their home Lodge. Any candidates called out at an out-of-council summer camp may complete their Ordeal with Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan Lodge during any of our Ordeal Induction events listed in Lodge Event Calendar.Comments
